ANTIQUE CAST IRON SINK BOX DECOY ANCHOR DOOR STOP CHESAPEAKE BAY CANVAS BACK

It is the decoy in the group picture that is all the way on the right end. It's the small canvas back duck.

The measurements are approximate sizes. It is 13" long by 6 1/4" wide and 5 tall. It weighs 18 1/4 pounds. The duck looks like a canvasback drake to me. I found these decoys in an old Elkton MD Estate so I assume they are locally made for the Chesapeake Bay region.

The paint looks origial and is in good condition with paint loss and rust spots. See all of the pictures as they are intended to be used as part of the items desription. I don't know for sure who painted these or if they are even done by the same maker. After doing a little research on the interweb I think some of the possible makers could be John McKinney, Paul Gibson, John Holly or John Graham. The picture of the bottom of this decoy shows a worn name that looks to me like it says John Graham but I'm not 100% for sure.
