Antique Folk Art Shore Bird Hand Carved Wood Decoy Set Statue Vintage 1890s Old
The carvings are all hand carved entirely out of wood and I think they are some kind of shore birds. The bottom of the larger is engraved with what looks like the initials F.
I couldnt find any information relating to the signature. The small piece is unmarked. The larger measures about 16 long and the small is 8 long and the set is in nice condition but there is some chipping to the wood including the beaks. The post that holds the small decoy up is broken and needs to be replaced.Nice set and guaranteed old dates to the late 1800s.
