Antique vintage old wooden working Ned Burgess NC Widgeon duck decoy
The decoy has an old worn gunning paint surface and its original NC weight. The body is solid and the paint pattern still shows enough detail for this Drake Widgeon. The neck has some putty filler and is attached securely to the body. The bill is shorter than most Widgeon examples that I have seen, possibly due to wear. This is a nice example from one of the NC most prolific carvers. Measurements are 16" length and 6" width and 9 height.
