Possibly two strips of painted leather at base of neck. Lead weight(s) and remnants of original rigging on base.Antique decoys are well-beyond the scope of my expertise. Condition : Wear and soiling throughout consistent with age, use and exposure to the elements. Appears to be a combination of original paint, in-use touch ups, etc. Attractive overall form with tremendous Folk Art appeal.
