Charles Black, Blue Bill gunning decoy ca. 1940 Hollow, Scaup, New Jersey
From my personal collection of decoys. This gunning Blue Bill decoy is from the 1940 and has beautiful Delaware River style. It is hollow and retains the original rigging and weight on the underside. It has original paint and appears to have had finish feeder applied at some point. Please note all the original notes that are in the underside of this decoy. It had come from the collection of Winn Carter back in 1983. Please feel free to ask any questions and check my feedback.
