Flying Ivory-billed woodpecker woodcarving, duck decoy, Casey Edwards

The majestic ivory-billed woodpecker handcarved and painted by Casey Edwards in his antique/vintage style. Well, Casey did it again... He captured a snapshot of another wildlife scene, the now extinct ivory-billed woodpecker, and through wood, brings it into your home.

This flying ivory-billed, has an uplifted and turned head, semi-fanned tail, and beautifully curved wings as the photos show. It is positioned just as if it were banking through the forest. Note the nice contrast between the white markings on it's feathers, the black feathers, and the white birch branch upon which it is mounted.

This piece has a very classy look about it, and another one of a kind creation by Casey. It measures 19" tall, while the ivory-billed woodpecker is life-size at 17" long and 19 wing tip to wing tip.
