Here is a pair of great hand carved duck decoys by renown decoy artist "Oliver Lawson". Pair of Mallard ducks, drake and hen, miniature decoys, measuring about 8 3/4 from tip of bill to tail feathers. They are about 3" wide and 3" tall from bottom to top of head. Both ducks have slight turns of their heads to left and right. Hand signed on bottom Oliver Lawson Crisfield Md 1972.
Paint is still very good but on the drake there is a small area where there is some paint loss, almost like something "scuffed" the area. These birds are painted in oils out of cedar and have glass eyes.
