Jim Schmiedlin Red Head Hen Duck Decoy
Here is a beautiful Jim Schmiedlin Red Head Hen from Bradford Wood PA. Looks to be 3lbs 8oz. Going on what is painted on the bottom plate of the decoy. As with all of Jim's working decoys, its constructed of a Hollow body. Very good condition (would be excellent) but has a slight body crack down the left side of the decoy (see pics for details), but that does not detract from the beauty of this decoy. Jim's decoys are well sought after and they were unique as he actually hunted over them during the waterfowl season while he hunted in both PA and New York.
