Old Working Loon Decoy From Maine
I acquired this decoy in midcoast Maine. The owner told me that his grandfather once owned the decoy. The grand father who lived in Portland also hunted with the decoy in Back Cove, Portland. Where he hunted has filled in with residential and commercial buildings including I295. Loons have been protected for nearly 100 years. Not loose head is inletted. Length 19.5", width 5.5", height 7.5 and weight 4.5 lbs. A great piece of Americana.
