Beautiful drake and hen pair of flying buffleheads handcarved and painted by Casey Edwards in his antique/vintage style. Here are their qualities: both of the buffleheads are hollow (most carvers skip this step) for light-weight hanging and less cracking in the warmer air near the ceiling, turned and uplifted heads, cupped wings, splayed feet, carved and painted feathering, correct size, proportion, and likeness to the real bird, and offset eye screws to give the ducks the banking in for a landing display, and also so the beautiful back colorations can be seen as well as the underside while hanging.
