A rare hand carved hollow cedar American merganser duck decoy from Parkertown , New Jersey circa 1890, possibly an early Llyod Parker (who applied his ballast weights before he changed to in leaded ones) - too nicely carver for Bill Brown (copied Llyod Parker)both from Parkertown.
Measures 18 & 1/2 inches from the tip of the bill to the tail, applied ballast weight , leather anchor tie, painted eyes, the paint has been restored to the original style (new paint). Guaranteed to be as described/pictured. NOTE; most of the shine on the decoys is from the camera lights.
