This rare example displays all of the hallmarks of a working decoy - with light shot marks in some areas, heavy gauge steel stabilizing. Plate (3 1/2" x 3 1/4") is fixed and hinged underneath the decoy. And one leather hoop fastened underneath the breast.

Underneath the bill appears grazed or worn. Both glass eyes show very light scratches but free of any breaks.
