We are listing today for your consideration a Fantasist Original Horace "Hi" Crandall Miniature Wood Duck Decoy Carvings of a Pair of Mallards. This piece is in Excellent Condition with very slight surface wear.

The drake measures 3 3/8" long x 1 1/4" wide x 2 1/2" high, the hen is 3" long x 1 1/4" wide x 2 1/2" wide, the wood base is 7" x 3 1/4" and the piece weighs approximately 2.9oz. The side of the wood is signed HL Crandall, the felt lined base has an old paper label: Mallards by HL Crandall.
Exceptional detail to both the Hen & Drake, the original paint throughout is vibrant with great colors. A wonderful example of California Decoy Carving, we think they date from the 1940's-50's, these Miniature Mallard Pair would make a great addition to anyone's collection or home.Best of luck and thanks.
