VINTAGE ILLINOIS RIVER MALLARD DRAKE DUCK DECOY BERT GRAVES. Great old Mallard Drake decoy by famous Illinois river decoy carver Bert Graves of Peoria, Illinois. It is in excellent condition with a wonderful old repaint by the hunter. The decoy has detailed combing a well carved head. There is a fine stress crack in the neck that is stable.
It is a standard size mallard decoy 15 1/2" long and 6 1/2" wide. It is hollow carved 2-piece construction. The keel weight has been removed.
