Was from New Haven, Connecticut and were in business in the 1920's/30's. This example is patterned after the famous Elmer Crowell black duck decoy. The decoy is in great original paint and condition.
It looks to have a thin old coat of varnish but this does not detract from it's appearance. Head is mounted to left and is slightly loose. Please review photos to evaluate the condition for yourself.
