Owner and carver's name carved on the bottom of the decoy "Ron Sternard". This decoy was used off of Long Tail Point on the Bay of Green Bay, just north of Green Bay, Wisconsin. This was a famous and still is a famous area for canvasbacks. They stopped here on their way southeast across the United States to Chesapeake Bay. A very nice canvasback decoy.
