1930s-40s Frank Strey pair of Bluebills decoys from Wisconsin 1890-1966
Very nice set of Frank Strey Blue bill decoys out of Wisconsin he lived 1890 to 1966. This is a match pair, the bottom on the drake has been repainted and comes up the side about a inch the rest of both decoys is original paint the drake has a large check running the length of the bottom and a small one on the one side. The hen has a check on the underside at the rear of the decoy and one spot of paint loss on the hens breast paint is really good on this set of decoys they are built pretty solid and show very well they are pretty much all original the large check on the bottom was filled in years ago and resealed that's why the bottom of the decoy has been repainted.
