2 Antique Wood Duck Decoys
The paint on these decoys has a wonderful patina/luster and appear to me to be in fantastic condition for their age. The decoys head is a little loose. It moves about a 1/16 left and right. I see no makers marks or numbers, so I make no claims to the artisan or company that made them.
They are well constructed and appear not have been altered, repaired or retouched in any way. One of the decoys is missing the lead counterbalance on its bottom. The other decoy has its lead weight and the hammer marks where it was flattened out can still be seen. Length of the decoys 13-1/2 from bill to end of tail.
