They both were produced in the city of Grand Marais, Minnesota. LARGE Decoy: Over the years this one had developed a split. You can see it in the photos.
It has since been glued. This was originally a 2-piece body. The head is a little loose, but still solidly attached to the body. Both glass eyes are still intact.
Long, 5 7/8 wide and is 7 in. SMALL Decoy: This was made of 4 pieces of wood. 3 for the body and the head. As you can see from the photos the head is removeable. I didn't re-glue it back together.
There is a split on the bottom. The right eye is missing the glass eye.
This one measures: 13 1/4 long, 5 in. Wide and is 6 3/4 in. This pair is a nice collectible piece of Minnesota history.
