ANDERSON METAL DECOY PINTAIL SAN FRANCISCO, CA 1920's
Very Rare Hollow Metal Anderson Factory Pintail in well used original paint as well as condition. These metal decoys were only produced in the late 1920's. Many produced no longer exist due to rust and deterioration. The decoy is formed in 2 metal pieces right and left half and the pieces are soldered together. The soldered seams of this decoy are all intact.
A short wire is also formed and soldered into the base to form the line attachment. The company was actually called the B.
"ANDERSON DECOY" Stamped into bottom of decoy. Approximately 16" X 5 ½" X 8 High.
