They are either factory or handmade, I don't know who did them. There is a great deal of Mason influence in the paint job and the paint style.
It really doesn't affect it's shelf appearance. These birds are hand painted, and couldn't have been used too much. They show in use wear considering they are from about 1945, Each measures 15" from tip of bill to tip of tail; body 4" high; 5 1/2 wide. Leather keels still screwed on the bottom. Basically a really nice pair of decoys.
