The first antique Working Decoy is unusual.
The roundish body measures 7 ¼" wide by 9 ½" long with a 2 5/8" long by 3" wide, flat tail. The unusual part is the 7 ¼ tall long neck and head. Century decoy measures 14" from the end of the tail to the tip of the bill, and the overall height is 10 ½". The neck is loose where it attaches to the body, but it still lines up perfectly.
Aside for the various marks a dings acquired while working there are no problems or any restorations. The paint is guaranteed to be the original paint and this decoy has not been cleaned.
It even still has its large iron nut weight. Like every other antique Working Duck Decoy we are listing tonight there is no reserve.
