ANTIQUE MERGANSER DUCK DECOY Hollow Body Broken Missing Bill. 14 1/2 inches long and 6 inches wide. Hollow body made of two parts. You can see the seam all around and there is something inside rattling around. Probably some old lead shot.
Old bird found here on Long Island, NY. Some traces of the original paint but also some old repaint. Nice shape to body and head. A worthy restoration project I would think. Ding in end of tail.
