Thus our new name Oldwestwagonpeddlers. Traveled for 3 months to the day. None of that fun in the fun Florida or Arizona stuff for us. At least not till spring. Found this in a HUGE Antique Store where I found a couple other things we have listed including a 1940s tooled leather Mallard Duck briefcase satchel.
Available in another of our listings. I looked and looked and could not find another Duck decoy with the holes in the bottom like this one. Someone suggested first it was a Pratt. From research this does seem to be the case. They also suggested probably true it was modified by the owner hunter. My guess is maybe designed it to float upright without weights. Might be a patent in it for someone.
Remember me if you get one. It is about 16" long and 6 1/2" tall.
