Antique Vintage American Folkart Painted Carved Wooden Tack Eye Grouse Decoy

The bird measures not quite 12" from beak to tail. Including the base it is 19" tall. I don't believe this base is original. Just a wonderful and playful carving with a great paint decorated surface. I'm thinking this about 70 years old.
