Antique Working Decoy Duck Long Island LI New York Early 1900s
Up for sale is an antique working decoy. My understanding is that this was made in Long Island.
Late 1800s or early 1900s. Came out of the Brams Folk Art Collection (NYC). Condition: Head has some separation from the body but isn't loose or moving now. Some age cracks and minor splitting to the body. Small chunk missing on the one side of the neck.
Looks like maybe some extra nails in there. If it was reinforced it was done a long time ago. Looks like a newer leather strap was added to the base but that should come out very easily. 13 and half inches long. This item is in the category "Sporting Goods\Hunting\Vintage Hunting\Duck Decoys".
