Beautiful Darkfeather Freedman Northern Pintail Drake Duck Decoy / Wooden Carved
This is a Darkfeather Freedman Northern Pintail Duck Decoy in Excellent Unused Condition. It is carved in the Marty Hanson style and has been stored since new and never used. It is a rarer Darkfeather carving with a hollowed body, a nailed base, and no keel added so it could be displayed.
It could be possible to add a keel for use as a working decoy. The Northern Pintail Drake(Male) measures approximately 16 1/2" long, by 6" wide, and 7 1/2 tall.
It is painted with an aged look in earth tone shades of browns, beige, black, and antique white with a patina finish added. Darkfeather's decoys are some of the most sought after collectible carvings increasing in value each year.
