Listed is a very interesting canvasback from the upper bay. It is a dead ringer for a John Graham, however it thought to have been made by a carver on the Harford County side. It is rasp carved, which is unusual for the upper bay. A significant number of decoys came from the Charlestown area around the time Hallett was making decoys, so it's not inconceivable that he used a Graham pattern. The black and red are original paint and the white is a heavy coat of lead paint. The eyes are brass, the ballast weight is cast iron and the anchor-line ring is brass as well.

Note the lead shot lodged in the bill, amazing the bill didn't get blown off. Hallett Canvasback Drake Decoy, C.
