Flying screech owl handcarved and painted by Casey Edwards in his antique/vintage style. Due to requests, Casey made another one of his famous screech owls. They are second to none, and it is difficult to say which style is his best, as they are all so special.
This screech on a pedestal is in a "coming around the corner" swooping position. The wings are offset from each other, and are curved and cupped as the pictures show. The tail is fanned, and the legs/feet are extended backwards. The sassy face is characteristic of Casey's owls, and it has a claw beak. A true work of art, and one of a kind. The whole piece measures 24" tall, while this screech is life-size at 12" long, and 16 wing tip to wing tip.
