A confidence decoy is of a species you probably don't intend to shoot, but one that might normally be found among a contented flock of waterfowl. These are normally waterbirds or wading birds, particularly those that are wary by nature such as geese, herons, coots and seagulls. The decoy has a life-like turn of the head. Some of the filler is missing where the neck connects into the body, but the head is held firmly in place. Please look at the photos to judge the condition for yourself.
