These are older hen and drake Wood Duck decoys done in the Delaware River style by well known New Jersey carver John R. John has been carving in NJ for well over 40 years and he is also a popular Judge at numerous New Jersey decoy show competitions, like the Tuckerton Decoys Show. John's decoys are widely collected and can be found all over the country in many collections. Each decoys is rigged with an inletted weight & leather tie, they are also branded with John's stylized JRH brand in a circle. Very nice form and paint on each decoy with terrific combing on the drake with excellent head and bill detail.

The drake has it's head turned to the right and the hen is turned lightly to the left. They measure about 13" (tail to breast) and are about 5 1/2" wide.
