Ex Rare Decoy Deluxe Whistler Brothers 12 Pack Mallard W/Orig Case + Paperwork! These decoys were made by Lee and Glen Whistler. Owners and operators of Decoys Deluxe, Morrison Illinois. In the late 1930s farmers in the area of Morrison Illinois begin raising mallards, that the Whistler Brothers would then use for their decoys.
They would skin the ducks and mount them over cork bodies, cure them, And rubberize the bodies. They would then add rigging to the bottom add a stabilizing panel for when their flooring, and add glass eyes. This group of decoys consist of six Drake Mallards, and six Hen mallards. Completely in their original hard to fine case. At the time, the case was also waterproof.
