Decoy by Carlton "Cork" McGee (1931-) Chincoteague, Virginia. Now in his late 80's, Cork McGee is one of Chincoteauge's famous old time carvers and typifies the hunting traditions and character of the island. This is a very large standing model at 15 inches tall. This shorebird is branded "CM" on its underside with its wooden base being signed and dated 10/14.It is beautifully done with excellent feathering details. The head and tail carving is exemplary. The realistic legs are metal.
CONDITION: Use the multiple pictures to assess condition. Dimensions i n Inches (Length by Width by Height) and Weight in Lbs-Oz.
