The decoy with the black head has paint worn away on top of the head, the tail has some spots where paint wore away, the bottom side has white paint marks (this is probably from the artist as he was painting the bottom white), the bottom is dirty and the signature has slightly faded in some areas, the stamp reads "Heck Whittington Oglesby Illinois Jan 21 1972". The decoy with the spotted brown head has some areas on the beak where paint has worn away, the beak has a crack going from one side to the other (it isn't hanging loose), the right top side and left side of the body has a few indention dings (the paint wasn't affected so I'm thinking this is the way it was when the artist painted it), the tail has some spots where paint wore away, the bottom is dirty, the signature has slightly fade in areas, the stamp reads "Heck Whittington Oglesby Illinois Jan 21 1972". Please see all pictures for condition blemishes. The item "Heck Whittington Decoy Ducks Pair Vintage Painted Stamped Signed 1972 Oglesby" is in sale since Wednesday, December 21, 2016.
