RINGNECK DECOYS - MATCHED PAIR. RICK BROWN - BRICK, NJ.
This is a beautiful matched pair of miniature Ringneck decoys by Rick Brown, Brick Twnshp, NJ. They are hand carved from air-dried Jersey white cedar in the traditional Tuckerton School style with the clean, classic lines made famous by such New Jersey masters as Harry V. Shourds and Rowley Horner, superb stylized paint, hollow bodies, high quality glass eyes, lead pad weights and leather thongs. Each signed and dated decoy measures approximately 8 in length, 3 1/4 in width and 3 3/4 in height.Rick was the founder and owner of Barnegat Bay Decoys which he started on the old Wildfowler Decoy Company site in the 70s. Though the company closed its doors nearly three decades ago, Rick continues to hand carve the competition quality decoys that have earned him hundreds of ribbons for more than a quarter of a century. His decoys are highly collectible and very much sought after. This is a beautiful miniature pair and some of his finest work! Offered with no reserve, Good Luck!
