Old Sea Duck Decoy From Maine
A drake eider with carved eyes, "inletted" head (built into body), some influence from Nova Scotia. There are five holes in the body, one is 1.5 deep. Perhaps they were shot with buck shot. There are a few regular shot marks. The head is not loose and the bill is fully intact. Length 20", height 7", width 10 and weight 6 pounds.
