This listing is for a beautiful and RARE full-size PAIR of BLUE WING TEAL DUCK Decoys, by Ralph Malpage, the great Master Carver, from London, Ontario. You are getting a beautifully carved and painted HEN and DRAKE from the late 1980's/ early 1990's - when Ralph did his finest work. These are gorgeous - and you won't want to miss them!!! What beauty - the intricately carved, hand-painted detail in these gorgeous birds.
If you are a serious decoy collector, don't miss this pair. And don't forget - both of them have Ralph's name ENGRAVED on them, and SIGNED by Ralph (see pics - note: signature is very faint - its there with the stamp, just hard to see). These decoys are in original paint, and MINT condition. And they are full size, and exquisitely carved and painted - for a realistic look. Ralph was born in 1929 and just past away in November 2017. Ralph carved since he was 15 years old. He worked for the Pacific Central Railroad, and was a lifelong carver.Few carvers offer the lifelike look, and detail that Ralph did.
