The duck features black glass eyes, lead weight, an anchor line, and a distressed patina. White Carving & Son makes stylized reproductions of ducks, shorebirds, songbirds, fish, nautical, and folk art woodcarvings, carved by Steve White and painted by his wife Linda, they are individually carved of kiln dried white pine, hand-painted with acrylic paints, then given a unique "10 step antique process".This was developed after years of experimentation and provides a beautiful distressed patina that enhances the character of the wood. In Excellent condition free on nicks, splits or breaks, minor wear commensurate with prior use.
