This listing is for a beautiful and EXTREMELY RARE full-size BLUE GOOSE SLEEPER Decoy, by Ralph Malpage, the great Master Carver, from London, Ontario. Ralph made VERY FEW GOOSE decoys - and ALMOST NO SLEEPERS... AND ALMOST ZERO BLUE GEESE. So, you will be one of the only collectors who own one of the rarest ones ever made! You cannot replicate these RARE decoys again for ANY price!!!
As you know, the Blue Goose is a color phase of the Snow Goose. Ralph's BLUE GOOSE decoys are extremely rare - and you are getting a signed, and stamped GOOSE SLEEPER (super rare) from the late 1980's/ early 1990's - when Ralph did his finest work. This one is gorgeous - and you won't want to miss it!!! Size: 17 1/2"L X 7"H X 8W (without the keel).

This decoy is in original paint, and MINT condition, full size, and exquisitely carved and painted - for a realistic look. Note: Ralph was born in 1929 and just past away in November 2017. Ralph carved since he was 15 years old. He worked for the Pacific Central Railroad, and was a lifelong carver.Few carvers offer the lifelike look, and detail that Ralph did.
