White & Son, which is now out of business. Stamped "White" into the base bottom. Measures about 23 3/4" from tail to beak tip, about 5 ½" at widest wing parts, about 5 7/8 from ground to top of head. Decoy base is somewhat flat but will wobble is pushed down on. Has NO visible repairs, cracks, dents, BUT beak tip has some paint wear & has 2 scratches on the underside of the tail that MAY be "T".
Back has a weird, sanded section-see image 5-in the middle of the backthere is NO damage on the wood under it. Could find nothing on carver's name online.
