Greetings vintage / antique duck decoy lovers and collectors! For your consideration is an old wooden duck decoy that came from a boat shed in Algonac Michigan very close to The St.
This area has been know for decades as a premier duck hunting area. I'm not an expert on these, but it appears to be a Bluebill decoy, and the shape of the body leans toward Mason. The eyes appear to be glass, and the paint either original or a very early touch up. Overall length is approximately 14", width is 5-1/2" or so. Weight is about 1-3/4 Lbs.
