Vintage Antique Wooden Working Early Black And White Duck Decoy (Textured Back)? T his duck has been repaired a lot of years ago when the bill broke.

It looks like they used some sort of material to try to fill in the missing wood but it gives it character. Like I said in the title this duck is a very early decoy Im thinking from New Jersey area because thats where my great grandfather used it and has a different type of textured back that Ive never seen on any of the other decoys. It has the holes on the bottom where the mechanism was that pulled them out to the water. The duck is hollow on the inside and has something that rattles around on the inside not sure what that is Im guessing its a weight to make them float properly!
