Vintage DUCK DECOY Primitive Hand Carved Wood w/Red Glass Eyes. What a beauty, fresh from an estate sale. Primitive, hand-carved duck with red glass beaded eyes, reminiscent of a Canvasback duck. Weights were obviously removed to be able to display in the home.
Carved in 2 pieces, as the head is removable and can be re-positioned. Some original lake water spots can still be seen on the back of carving.This was a working bird a long time ago, and was preserved and brought in a house or cabin for safekeeping and admiration. A great addition to your home, cabin, office, man/woman cave, bringing the rustic beauty of the great outdoors to you.
