Ohnmact took great pride in the construction of his unique decoys. Constructed of cork & then painstakingly coated with a plastic type material. Spot on bottom, Photo is close up so you can see peel back of the construction.... He bagged every decoy so most survived in great condition.
Ohnmact was ahead of his time... A Duck Hunter just trying to find a better way & his worked. I think you can find information, other photos on the web & possible info on its value. Reasonable offers to be considered. He was a duck hunter & kept live ducks on his property.
You can see the detail in the feather painting, he was likely actually looking at a live bird when painting, detail feathering as good as any maker.
