Vintage Ira Hudson Bluebill Duck Decoy Chincoteague, VA ca 1930s. Beautiful vintage Ira Hudson Bluebill duck decoy. Looks to be either in original paint or second coat by Ira Hudson himself.

A wonderful example of his carvings, with nice fluted tail. Original weight is missing but original leather line tie is still intact. It still has remnants of the yellow paint that was on its tack eyes. Just a great all-around Virginia decoy from one of the master carvers. It measures about 14 inches.
