Vintage Jn Dodge Factory Hen Mallard Duck Decoy Near Mint! Tack Eyes Excellent
Dodge decoy factory of Detroit, ca. The 125-year old decoy is in fine original paint and condition with only the neck filler being replaced and a bit of touch-up in that area.
We like the yellow outline still present around the tack eyes. Surprisingly, this decoy shows only minor wear with slight rubs to the tip of the bill and tail. Speculums are bright and as is the ample feather paint detail. There are a couple of small shots marks to the body.
It has what we suspect is a collector stamp the reads, ? This is truly an investment grade decoy in a condition that you wont see again anytime soon. Measures 16-1/2 long; 5-3/4 wide and 6-1/2 tall.
