Vintage Ora Clough Teal Duck Decoy, 1930's Wisconsin, Perkinstown, Original
Vintage wooden Ora Clough Blue Wing Teal decoy from Perkinstown Wisconsin and later Ladysmith. Estimated fromt he 1930's and bird is in very good condition considering it's age with normal wear, some paint loss and edge wear. Body of theTeal measures approximately 11 and slightly longer including the bill length.
Decoy is about 6.5 high at the head. Very nice shape and form with an Evans Decoy Co. Decoy head is slightly turned as well. Ora was born in 1895 and passed in 1975. Ora started working for the Evans Decoy Co. In Ladysmith and soon after started making his own dekes. This is one of the few examples of Teal that has surfaced and will be a nice addition to any decoy collection and display.
