Vintage Tom Taber Hersey Kyle Jr. Wood Duck Decoy Northern Shoveler Spoonbill Excellent RARE! Dated early to mid 80s during the best years of Taber's craftsmanship and Kyle collaboation. Extremely rare and in amazingly deep yet vibrant colors! Very few of this special spoonbill were made and this is not a mass produced decoy like the ones you see out there. Excellent condition for this 40 year old decoy! Life size at 16.5 inches long. There seems to be a very minor and expertly repair on one of the feather tips which is hard to capture and even harder to notice. Natural wood grain at the end of beak, not a crack or defect. Original Taber green felt pads included. This is a great addition to any Taber collection!
